Jayna & Josh: "A colorful Hindu Wedding!"

Indian weddings are well known for their joy, their music, their colors and so much more! A guest who attends an Indian wedding, will surely enjoy this lavish celebration of love with all of their senses. And the best part? One doesn't need to travel to beautiful India to experience a Hindu wedding! Jayna and Josh proved this by combining the cultural heritage of the bride, with the favorite travel destination of both. And that's how exotic Delhi met the picturesque town of Nafplio, in a unique marriage of traditions, flavors and images!
Tall, green trees and lush, colorful bushes in the garden of a Nafplian farmhouse, created the perfect backdrop, where the Mandap, a four-pillared wooden canopy elaborately decorated with flowers in shades of red, was set up. It's the place where many Hindu wedding rituals take place, such as the Saat Phere, when friends and family watch the couple walk around a fire, symbolizing an oath of love, and the Vidaai, when Jayna bid farewell to her parents to start her new life alongside Josh, amidst an atmosphere of happiness and thrill.
A Hindu wedding is not a quick affair, but a lengthy -sometimes multi-day- sequence of prayers, rituals and symbolisms, that aim to offer the couple as much positive energy as possible, for their new life together! Judging by the happy faces of the guests and the smiling faces of Jayna and Josh, their common life as a married couple began in an atmosphere of joy and celebration -the best omen for a blessed marriage!
