Starting from the beautiful Karathona beach of Nafplio, the famous Karathona-Arvanitia Trail will be held for the 7th time on Sunday, July 7th 2024; a recreational running activity aiming to highlight the natural beauty of the area.
Organized by the "Marathon Runners & Runners of Argolis" Association, under the auspices of the Municipality of Nafplion and with the support of the Hellenic Federation of Popular Mass Sports Clubs & Super Sports.
It is a route of 9.1 km, which includes the most beautiful water walk on a path of Nafplio, under the emblematic Palamidi castle! Specifically, the route starts from the "Palaitsaki" tavern at the end of the coastal road of Karathona beach, continues along the seaside to Arvanitia square and ends again at the end of Karathona beach. It is a 5.4 km long passable dirt road, while the rest of the route is on asphalt.

All participants must be at the starting area of the race up to one hour before the start, in order to pick up their race numbers.
Participations
All adult athletes over 18 years of age are eligible to participate, who will be running solely at their own risk and must have been recently examined by a doctor. Participation in the race by athletes under 18 years of age is not permitted.
There will be electronic timing and posting on all race websites, and runners must complete the course in 90 minutes (1.5 hours).
Winners - Prizes
The top three men and top three women in the overall category will receive commemorative trophies and presents from the sponsors. All finishers will be given a commemorative participation certificate and a medal of honor. The awards ceremony will take place at 10:30 am.

Deadline
The deadline for submission of registrations is Monday 01-07-2024 at 14:30.
The organizers request the timely submission of registrations, with a limit of 200 entries. Entries may close earlier if the limit is reached.
No new entries will be accepted on the day of the race, unless there are open places or cancellations.

Did you know that?
The race will be supported by a doctor from the Medical Association of Argolis, the Ambulance Service of Argolis, the Red Cross - Regional Department of Nafplion, the Greek Rescue Team and a private ambulance (Medical Care of Argolis Arkadia).
There will be two water supply stations along the route.
