The organization of the 22nd Argolic Gulf Road "Panagiotis Papavasileiou" on Sunday, February 11th 2024 is announced, covering a distance of 15,3 km. This highly successful running/walking event takes place on the unique route from Lerna to Nafplio.
The Marathon Runners' Club of Argolis in collaboration with the Argolis-Health-Race Association, is awaiting our registrations until Monday, February 5th 2024, to participate in this wonderful coastal route of the Argolic Gulf.

9:00 - Fast Walk race starting time (along the route of the official 15,300-meter race)
10:00 - Starting of the official 15,300-meter race
12:00 - Start of the children's race of 1000 meters (from the Nafplio Swimming Pool and finish at the main race finish area).
13:00 - Awards ceremony

Transportation
The transportation will be provided by buses departing from 7:45 to 8:30 from the Municipal Stadium of Nafplio. Under the organizers' supervision, participants will be transferred free of charge to the starting area.
Registrations
Individual and team registrations are accepted. The deadline for registrations is Monday, February 5th 2024 until 20:00, or until the limit is reached. Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the race.

For team registrations of groups -more than 10 people- request the special Excel form at E. argolidarunners@gmail.com. For these registrations, the race numbers will be provided to the runners by the team leader on Saturday, 10/02/2024, from 16:30 to 20:30, at the multipurpose room of the Regional Unit of Argolis, and on Sunday, 11/02/2024, at the start, from the race's Secretariat.
Participation Cost

Free participation for the children's race and for people with disabilities.
The cost includes:
Bib number with electronic chip for timing.
Commemorative medal for all finishers.
Photography.
Electronic commemorative completion certificate.
Transportation of participants from the finish to the starting point.
Safekeeping and transportation of clothing from the starting point to the finish area.
Buffet with various local products of Argolis.
Medical Assistance
The race will be medically supported by the Medical Association of Argolis, the Ambulance Service of Argolis, the Red Cross - Argos Branch, the Samaritans Department of Nafplio, the Greek Rescue Team and a private ambulance.
Remarks
The race will be electronically timed (Chip timing). Intermediate electronic timing will be recorded at the 10 km mark.
The race will take place under any weather conditions (except extreme weather phenomena).
Refreshment points will be available at the 5th and 10th kilometers, covered by the 1st Argos Scouts System. Significant support for the race will be provided by the Motorcycle Friends of Argolis (FILMA).
Runners are responsible for their own physical integrity and waive any claims against the organizers for any damage for any reason.
Runners consent to the free use of their names and photographic material related to the race by the mass media.
Awards
Prizes (trophies) will be awarded to the top three overall Men and Women.
Additionally, the top three in each age category (Men, Women) will be honored: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, and 75+. The first-place winners will receive a trophy, and the 2nd and 3rd place will receive a special medal.
The overall winners will not be awarded in the individual age categories.
In the children's race, all participants will receive a commemorative medal (there will be no special awards).
All runners and walkers who complete the race will receive a valuable medal.

The race is dedicated to the founder, creator, and pioneer of the event for 21 consecutive years, Panagiotis Papavasiliou.
The Health Runners Association of Athens is the first Running Club established in Greece in 1981. Its members are runners of short, medium, and long distances.
The current health protocols of the General Secretariat of Sports will be applied in the race.
