The great Greek performer Eleftheria Arvanitaki, who knows how to excite us and take us on a journey through the magic of her live performances and her great songs, invites us to meet her again and with her group of great musicians, to relive the pulse of her "powerful" concerts.
From "Red Dress" to "Take me in a hug and let's go" and from the folk ballads of the leading maestro Christos Nikolopoulos, to her latest favorites of the younger Themis Karamouratides, from Cape Verde to the Armenian songs, that she taught us to love, and from the poetic words of Odysseas Elytis and Michalis Ganas, to the modern lyrics of Lina Nikolakopoulos and Nikos Moraitis, Fougaro Square comes alive and our mood gets high...

Did you know that?
Eleftheria Arvanitaki is one of the leading contemporary Greek performers, with over 40 years of records history and concert presence. She was born in 1957 and raised in Pireaus (parents from Ikaria and Paxos islands).
Her career began in 1979, when she joined the Retrograde Company, a band of students who played rebetika and folk music, amateurishly, in various night clubs of Athens.
The New York Times have written that Eleftheria Arvanitaki is more likely a soprano, who combines sweetness with warmth, purity and sensitivity, with a sense of sadness and melancholy.
