On Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st 2024, we are pleased to participate again this year in the great celebration of Agiorgitiko, in our neighboring Nemea! The Great Days of Nemea are coming back, celebrating 20 years! We will discover the secrets of the vineyard, the different expressions of Agiorgitiko -and not only- we will tour the wineries and meet the people behind the labels...
The Great Days of Nemea, one of the most important institutions in the field of Greek wine, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. These events take place in Nemea, the largest wine-producing zone in Greece, which includes 17 villages.
The events include visits and tastings and individual events at the wineries, central thematic tastings by wine experts and artistic events. The aim is to protect and promote PDO Nemea wine, based on the local variety Agiorgitiko, and to enhance wine tourism in the region.
The events, with the participation of about 30 wineries, will take place on Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, September 1st 2024 in Nemea and in the wineries of the region, while on Friday, August 30th a new model for the production of quality wines with the "Nemea Lion" label will be presented.
