Mona & Voke: A traditional Nigerian wedding

How can you not be amazed of the vibrant and joyous celebration of a traditional Nigerian wedding, that reflects the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of the country! The wedding of Mona and Voke, that took place in Nafplio, was a riot of colors and customs, steeped in tradition and meaning!
Family and guests arrived in resplendent attire richly embroidered with intricate patterns, accessories and beadwork, donning a spectrum of colors that symbolize various aspects of the culture. The ceremony followed various rituals and customs, each with its unique symbolism. Elders offered blessings and advice to the newlyweds, while the couple shined full of happiness and love! The exchange of gifts and tokens of love signified the union of the two families.
The colorful florals and tropical ascents created the needed lively and festive atmosphere. Music filled the air, as the families joined dancing to the rhythmic beats and the entire gathering came alive with the sound of laughter and celebration.
This weddings was a breathtaking display of colors, customs and heartfelt traditions, that left a lasting impression on all, who were fortunate enough to witness it!
