Vouleftiko – "Fall of Constantine's City", May 29th 2019

The Nafplio Municipal Cultural Organization (D.O.P.P.A.T.) invite us to the memorial event of the 566th anniversary of the Fall of Constantine's City (1453-2019), which will take place on Wednesday, May 29th 2019 in Vouleftiko, the hall of the first Greek Parliament in Nafplio.

The musical orchestra "Byzantine and Traditional Echoes", in the teaching and direction by Mr. Konstantinos Routoulas.

The Fall of Constantinople came after the siege of the Byzantine capital, with Constantine XI Palaeologus Emperor, by the Ottoman army lead by the Sultan Mohammed II.
The siege lasted from April 6th to Tuesday, May 29th 1453.
