Nafplio - Chess Games, 23 & 24 November 2019

Βy the Nafplio Chess Academy, Chess Games were included in this year's parallel events programme of the 5th Nafplio Castle Run, giving another important parameter to these multi-themed sporting events, unique in our country, which is their social and educational dimension.

Therefore, the Nafplio Chess Academy organizes the "Castle Chess 2019" in Nafplio and hosts Mr. Ioannis Papaioannou (GM, champion of Greece in pre-adolescents, adolescents and men's categories, Greek record holder in grade evaluation (ELO 2652).

Programme

Saturday, November 23rd 2019
At 12:00 noon: "Simultane" Chess competition at the Three Admirals Square (in front of the Town Hall). The invited Mr. Ioannis Papaioannou will face 25 chess players simultaneously.
At 17:00: "Rapid" Chess competition organized by the Chess Academy of Nafplio at Three Admirals Square, for children up to 12 years old and adults.

Sunday, November 24th 2019
At 12:30: "Blitz" Chess competition at the Vouleftiko.
