Vouleytiko - "Astero", 24 June 2015

The restored version by the Greek Movie Archive of the most famous Greek silent movie –a masterpiece of the early 20th century world cinema- will be screened with live music accompaniment by the composer Philip Tsalachouris. The film was directed by the legenday cinematographer of the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922) and a true pioneer of cinema, Dimitris Gaziadis (1899-1959), with a screenplay by Pavlos Nirvanas and Orestis Laskos and the leading roles played by Aliki Theodoridou, Aimilios Veakis and Kostas Mousouris.
The concert will take place at Vouleytiko.
