Starting with the Musica Secreta, that flourished in the courtyard of Duke Alfonso d 'Este of Ferrara, and drawing inspiration from the fascinating secret lives of female singers and songwriters, who excelled in the courtyards of Florence, Venice and Rome, the lyric singers Maira Milolidakis (soprano), Efi Minakouli (Mezzo soprano, theorbi) and the chellist Katerina Ktona, travel to the 17th century Italy and explore the vocal music written by female composers or written for female voices, as the music of Luzzascho Luzzaschi, Claudio Monteverdi, Salamone Rossi, Sigismondo d' India, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Francesca Caccini, Luigi Rossi, Girolamo Kapsberger and Barbara Strozzi.
