Believing in this city and its culture, with targeted actions and cooperation of the Municipality and Organizations, this new, special institution begins on Friday, October 21st 2022. The theater groups of the city will be present, protagonists, and with the guidance of the excellent Nikos Hatzipapas (Art.& Gen. Director of Helix Action Theatre), citizens and visitors will enjoy the beauty of the Street Theater...
The Helix Street Theater with a ten-member troupe starts the Festival, with the opening ceremony, in "Trion Navarchon" (Three Admirals) Square (Town Hall Square). It presents a Street spectacle entitled "Street Comedy with Illusions and Dreams", which will be performed at 9:00 pm on all three days, in different squares. It is a performance for young and old inspired by Commedia Dell' Arte. Impressive figures on stilts, renaissance music, juggling and comic situations, scenes with fires and fireworks will impress us!
Afterwards, the local Street Theater groups take over at different times, in all the squares and parks of the old town, from noon till late at night.
