Pronia Nafplio - Experiential Tour and Events, May 30th 2019
On Thursday, May 30th 2019, the "Locales" Team present in the National Assembly Square in Pronia municipal district of Nafplio, the task of marking a hidden neighborhood located on the outskirts of the city: the Pronia municipal district and its neighborhoods, with the Russian and the Cretan names. This consists the project named "ypovrIChEIO".
In such a wandering in the streets of Pronia district the idea of "ypovrIChEIO" project was born. The manner, in which those responsible wished to "listen" to these neighborhoods, is through the stories of their inhabitants, but also through the emergence of some unfamiliar points in an artistic or a musical way.
The goal is twofold: firstly to establish a network between the residents of the neighborhood, and secondly to turn the eyes of Nafplio residents and of passersby towards the beauties (or not) of a hidden suburb.
The result of all this effort will be presented on Thursday, May 30th 2019, when the experience of this first walk in Pronia will be passed into the visitors of that day. Tools? A map, silence and all our senses open...

The "Locales" Team was created in December 2018 by Alkistis Vassilakos, Irene Heretakis and Christos Katsiris, in the framework of the thesis of the student Alkistis Vassilakos at the University of Peloponnese, Faculty of Theater Studies of Nafplio.
The event is under the auspices of the Department of Theater Studies of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Peloponnese and the "DOPPAT" Organization of the Municipality of Nafplio.
