Plektirio - Op3 "SmyrnAe" Live, April 14th 2019

In our latest favorite hangout, the "Plektirio" coffee-bar in Staikopoulou street, on the evening of Sunday, April 14th 2019, the live presentation of the last album of the Op3 Jazz Trio band entitled "SmyrnAe" is taking place!

The Op3 is a nu/modern jazz trio with enough "atmospheric" elements, that harmoniously blend the modern jazz with the classical composition and the electronic sounds, while borrowing traditional elements and rhythms (folk).
Their new album "SmyrnAe" was released on February 14th 2019. As a thematic album, it borrows the place and time of the destruction of Smyrna without using the actual facts or historical events. It tries to highlight the timelessness of uprooting, persecution and refuge as a global phenomenon.

"SmyrnAe" is the second Op3 album. First presented at Six D.O.G.S. in Athens, on March 29th 2019 and has already received positive reviews from the domestic music press.
Their debut album named "Hope", also earned excellent reviews from the Greek and foreign music press.
