Dimitra Galani, one of Greece’s acclaimed singers, never rests on her laurels. Inventive and energetic, she always has an eye for the novel. This time round, her remarkable voice becomes the fifth instrument in a quartet of talented musicians, each contributing their own personal influences from the rich tapestry woven through the generations of Greek song. From Nikolaos Mantzaros’ “Xanthoula” to Vassilis Tsitsanis and Manos Hadjidakis, Chronos (time) brings forth the best of our music tradition.
