Vouleftiko - Mariza Koch's book presentation, October 13th 2018

The Municipality of Nafplio - DOPPAT and the "Metaixmio.gr" publications, invite us to the presentation of the new book of Mariza Koch "The blond girl of Santorini", on Saturday, October 13th 2018 in the "Vouleftiko" (old Parliamentary hall, 12 Staikopoulou str.) in Nafplio. The book is a confession from our beloved Marisa Koch, with tenderness, humor and wisdom, about her childhood and everything that has shaped her as a human being and as a performer.

Anna Vorgia, a poet and painter, and Yiannis Stamos, head of events and public relations at Metaichmio publications will speak about the book. The Choir of the 2nd Primary School of the Maltezos Schools is participating, under the teaching of Yiannis Nonis and Marina Klissaris.
The beloved singer will answer questions from the audience and sign copies of her book.

"This is my narrative, that I wrote in response to the love I received in my fifty years of singing, and I offer it to you as a gift in return. With the wish that all the children of war, of any war, could experience love and healing, like myself".

The publication is complemented by photographic material and two songs for Santorini: the traditional "The star of the dawn" performed by Mariza Koch and her new song "Across the Volcano".
The event is organized with the collaboration of "Albatros" local bookshop.
