Fougaro - Stella Kapezanou Painting exhibition, June 7th to September 1st 2019
In Fougaro - Gallery, the personal paintings exhibition of Stella Kapezanos continues, entitled "Just a few drops of pink Coppertone", which was inaugurated on June 7th and will last until September 1st 2019.
Stella Kapezanos, with origin from Nafplio, has been distinguished many times for her painting both in Greece and abroad. The exhibition includes works from the painter's entire artistic course, as well as a triptych created especially for this exhibition in Fougaro.
In her work, Mrs. Kapezanos presents a world full of color, movement and vitality, however also dealt with criticism, humor and sometimes irony. The images are carefully created, with a focus almost architectural. But if you break the shell of the surface, you begin to realize that what you see may be true, but it is often not...

Did you know that?
Stella Kapezanos has studied painting at the School of Fine Arts, with an honorary scholarship. She continued her postgraduate studies at the Chelsea College of Arts in London, with the support of Motoroil Hellas, where she was awarded the Frank Bowling scholarship.
In London she was awarded the Clyde & Co Emerging Star Award, the Cass Art Prize 2018, and was a finalist for the Solo Show Award 2017, the Rise Art Prize 2018 and the ACS Studio Prize 2018.
She has presented her work in Greece and abroad and she works between London and Greece.
