Trianon Theater - “The tiger”, 1 to 3 December 2017

The Experimental Stage of DOPPAT (Municipal Organization of Sports, Culture, Tourism and Environment) presents "The Tiger", a black comedy by Murray Schisgal, at Trianon Theater.

The case
Ben is the "Tiger" and lives isolated in his nest in the center of a modern big city, until one evening, in coming out for hunting in a narrow-lane, finds his prey, Gloria, married mother and housewife. The tiger brings his victim to his nest forcing it to hear his screaming. That is what scares me: they ask the question, "How are you?" And when you answer them "I am fine" they don’t even listen to you, they are not interested ... there is no real feeling, no interest or no humanity.
On the background of a man-woman relationship, Sisgal sets up a black comedy about the impasse of modern man, politically and socially, fumbling the trauma and at the same time jerks out the tongue on our attitudes of despair, leading to nowhere.
