Photography Exhibition - Old Nafplio city of period 1900-1960, 2 to 10 December 2017

The Progressive Association of Nafplion "Palamidis" exposes to Vouleytiko (the old Parliament of Nafplion) a series of photographs of the city, which concern the period 1900 - 1960.

This Photo Exhibition is a chronicle, a journey through time. The visitor will recognize "familiar" but also unknown pictures of Nafplion, its buildings and their differentiation, he will deepen in the social, cultural and everyday life of the era and he will compare it with the contemporary time. The exhibition is not just a show of photographs, but a legacy for the coming generations and concerns the historical, cultural, folklore, social and ethological routes that unite yesterday with today.

The proposal for the implementation of this Exhibition was made by the Deputy Regional Chief of Regional Unity of Argolis, Mr. Tasos Hevidopoulos, in the framework of the "Argolida Cultural Routes" and the Association “PALAMIDIS” positively responded to this proposal.
